Flagship / local-first daily planning
Make today actually fit.
Give it what has to happen and what you want to get done. Day Engine turns the mess into a believable timeline, tells you when the math does not work, and can rescue the day when reality wins.
Your task names, commitments, schedule, completion state, and backups stay in this browser. MadeOfLoops receives only anonymous fixed counters such as “plan generated,” never the contents of your plan.
01 / constraints
What shape is the day?
Start with reality. The engine protects fixed commitments before it schedules anything else.
Fixed commitments
Meetings, appointments, school runs, meals — anything the engine cannot move.
02 / work
What needs a place?
Duration is the cost. Importance and urgency tell the engine what should survive when the day is too small.
local memory
Your browser remembers.
No account. No cloud workspace. Back up the plan yourself if you want portability.
how it thinks
It does not pretend time is infinite.
Day Engine removes fixed commitments from the day first. Then it places work into the remaining windows using importance, urgency, energy demand, available block size, and your preferred high-energy part of the day.
Rescue mode is intentionally harsher. When everything cannot fit, it protects the combination of high-value work that can survive inside the remaining capacity and moves the rest out of the plan. It does not silently shorten your tasks.
Replan from now keeps completed work completed, respects future commitments, and rebuilds only the remaining day. Nothing here can manufacture another hour. That is the feature.
